Digital Opptur Kobler Dat use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements
The Datastudio Connector for Kobler shall only request access to scopes that are appropriate for the permitted Application Type as described by the product's policies or the product's Google Developer Page.
The use of data obtained via the specified scopes shall comply with the following requirements. These requirements apply to the raw data obtained from the scopes, as well as any aggregated, anonymized, or derived data:
a. Limit the use of data to providing or improving user-facing features that are prominent in the requesting application's user interface.
b. Transfers of data are not allowed, except:
i. To provide or improve appropriate access or user-facing features that are visible and prominent in the requesting application's user interface, and only with the user's consent.
ii. For security purposes, such as investigating abuse.
iii. To comply with applicable laws.
iv. As part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets of the developer, after obtaining explicit prior consent from the user.
c. Prohibit humans from reading the data, unless:
i. The user has given affirmative agreement to view specific messages, files, or other data, except for use cases approved by Google under additional terms applicable to the Nest Device Access program.
ii. It is necessary for security purposes, such as investigating a bug or abuse.
iii. It is necessary to comply with applicable law.
iv. The data (including derivations) is aggregated and used for internal operations in accordance with applicable privacy and other jurisdictional legal requirements.
d. Prohibit all other transfers, uses, or sales of user data, including:
i. Transferring or selling user data to third parties such as advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.
ii. Transferring, selling, or using user data for serving ads, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising.
iii. Transferring, selling, or using user data to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes.
The developer of the Datastudio Connector for Kobler must ensure that all employees, agents, contractors, and successors comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy.
Applications accessing the specified scopes, known as Sensitive and Restricted Scopes, must demonstrate adherence to specified security practices. Depending on the API and number of user grants or users, the application must undergo an annual security assessment conducted by a Google-designated third party and obtain a Letter of Assessment.
